My Pineo family is originally from Nova Scotia and I have lots of Pineo relatives there still. Mostly set this up for genealogy and ancestry type information. Use this site to announce Pineo family events or just to share information. Ask for features etc and I will see what I can do!

I am from Amherst Nova Scotia which isn't far from King's Co. I am not a Pineo but my first name is Avora and I have been searching for years to see if there were any other Avora's anywhere and haven't been successful in finding one and now I see that you have an Avora in your family line. Do you have any information on the name,what it means, where it comes from or how I could actually talk to another Avora? Any information would be wonderfully accepted. thanks

I am trying to locate Susan Pineo Keohane. We graduated from an all girls school in 1964 in Mobile, Al. She married Michael(?) Keohane and moved. She lived in Noa Scotia for a while but then I lost track of her. If you know of her please let me know. Thanks. Maria

My daughter Amy answered the last post here as well, just not showing yet. I was married to James Pineo Jr. son of Marie Allen and James Pineo sr. (deceased) from Nova Scotia. Siblings of James Jr. are Anna, Brian, Gary, Judy (now deceased as well)and Cheryl. We had 2 daughters, Amy & Stacey and James Jr. has another daughter to second wife, Megan. Hello: I was a family friend of a Karen Pineo from Port Bruce, Ontario in the 1970s. Her mother and father were tobacco farmers in Port Bruce. Are they still located there. Thanks
